August 11 - 15, 2008

Sing Minnesota is a week-long day camp for kids who are excited about experiences in the arts.
While focusing on choral singing, campers also participate in other creative arts—
drama and movement, visual arts, as well as plenty of outdoor fun and games.
An
optional piano lab experience for beginning, intermediate and advanced levels is also
available for an additional charge.
The camp is hosted by Saint Paul's Concordia University. As the rehearsal home of
the Minnesota Boychoir, Concordia University’s facilities make Sing Minnesota
second-to-none! Located just south
of I-94 at Hamline Avenue, the university offers
easy access to drop-off and pick-up during the day, spacious rehearsal rooms, a
comfortable working space for visual art and
the lovely, 500-seat Buetow Auditorium,
where our final performance will take place.
Sing Minnesota is open to girls and boys who
have completed grades 2-6 (ages 8-12). The
camp session runs August 11 to 15, from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. The week
culminates in a performance for friends and
families that showcases the campers.
To ensure this artistic opportunity is available to all children, the Bridget McCarthy
Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of the Twin Cities singer,
actress and teacher for whom it is named.

An application will be mailed to you. |
